Can these icons be used in commercial applications?

Yes, the icons are available royalty-free and can be used in commercial applications. Icons can also be used in open source projects and hosted on sites including but not limited to CodePlex, GitHub, BitBucket, etc.

Do you plan on creating more icons?

Absolutely. we plan to create hundreds or even thousands more, so keep the requests coming.

What are the minimum system requirements to run this software?

Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8/8.1 with .NET Framework 4.0 installed.

Icons in JQuery Button widget

The Essential Studio for JavaScript provide icons library that contains the number of in-built icons that can be applied for CSS class names to elements and refer “ej.widgets.all.core.min.css” file. Use the following syntax to apply class names.

Syntax: .e-icon .e-[icon description]

  • Adding icon in Button

    For example, you can render the desired icon in the button by using the following table that contains the listed icons CSS class names in the “prefixIcon” property of button component. Also, use “contentType” property to display the icon in the button. In the following code example, specify the “ContentType” of the button as imageonly.

    The Syncfusion React library provides the set of formatted font icons, that can be utilized in the web application.

    Steps to use Icons library

    1. Add the class name to the HTML element which needs to render the icon. This class contains the font-family and common property of font icons.
    2. Add the icon class with corresponding icon content from the available icons. For example, the below code snippet represents the search icon class.

    Blazor Icons Library

    The Syncfusion Blazor library provides the set of formatted font icons which are being used in the Syncfusion Blazor components. These icons can be utilized in the web applications using component or class.

    Icon component

    Syncfusion Icon component provides support to render predefined Syncfusion icons or custom font icons.

    You can refer Getting Started with Syncfusion Blazor for Server-side in Visual Studio 2019 page for the introduction and configuring the common specifications.

    The following code example shows the rendering of built-in Syncfusion icons from predefined IconName options using Name property by defining them in tag.

    Icon size

    The font size of the icon can be changed using the Size property. The icon displays size by default.

    • When IconSize set to Small, the font size will be .
    • When IconSize set to Medium, the font size will be .
    • When IconSize set to Large, the font size will be .

    The property is applicable only when defining the icon using property. Otherwise, use IconCss property to customize the icon.

    Tooltip for icons

    The SfIcon supports to render custom font icons using the IconCss property. To render custom font icons define the required font CSS that provides the required font name, font size, and content for the icon.

    You can add the additional HTML attributes to the icon element using HtmlAttributes property. HTML attributes can be added by specifying as inline attributes or by specifying razor directive.
