If you’re a fan of the Lexus RX but you’re in need of a slightly larger SUV, you’re sure to love everything that the new Lexus RXL has to offer. The Lexus RXL is a 3-row SUV that’s perfect for families who like to travel through San Antonio and beyond in style. The Lexus RXL is very similar to the best-selling Lexus RX but it offers more space for additional passengers or cargo. The new Lexus RXL has three rows of seating and space for up to seven people, while the traditional Lexus RX has two rows of seating to accommodate up to five people. With the new RXL, you can seat your whole crew more comfortable than ever before! Learn about other similarities and differences between these two Lexus RX SUVs, and decide which one is right for you with help from our San Antonio, TX, Lexus Dealership.
Lexus RX vs. Lexus RXL: Interior
With more seats than the Lexus RX, the first-ever Lexus RXL configurations open your adventures to more possibilities. The Lexus RX 350L has seating for up to seven people in three rows of leather-trimmed seats. The third row even has its own dedicated climate control system to keep everyone comfortable. If you opt for the Lexus RX, you get standard NuLuxe seating material, while semi-aniline perforated leather-trimmed seats are available on the Luxury Package.
The seating situation in both the Lexus RX and Lexus RXL is flexible, so you easily fold down the back rows to create more space for cargo. The third row in the RXL is power-folding and has a 50/50 split, while the second row in the RX is available with power-folding second-row seats on the Luxury Package and easily folded down manually on every package level of the RX.
Price Difference Between Lexus RX & Lexus RXL
With a starting price of $43,570, the 2019 Lexus RX 350 has a lower cost than the Lexus RXL. The Lexus RX 350L has an MSRP of $47,770. Lexus RX SUVs equipped with all-wheel drive or RX hybrid models will cost more than these base trims.

Review: Lexus RX 350L has a third row, but it doesn't fit
Looking for a three-row crossover to haul a family of four or more? Avoid the Lexus RX 350L. It has the most cramped third row in the midsize crossover market.
Sure, other automakers crammed a jump seat into their compact crossovers, usually as a stopgap while filling in their crossover lineup. But Lexus taking its established perennial best-seller and adding a third row feels like a money grab, even though customers have been asking for it.
Lexus has the midsize GX with three rows standard, and it’s about the same length as the RX but larger everywhere else. Then there’s the full-size LX, which is a more refined but equally off-road-capable Toyota Land Cruiser. Point being, Lexus has vehicles that can adequately transport six or seven people, but those vehicles don’t have the 20 years of dominance in the hot luxury crossover segment as the RX.
The large version of the RX 350 should indicate L is for length; it is 4.3 inches longer, which gives it more than 2 cubic feet of capacity, but cargo space with all seats up drops from 18.4 cubic feet to 7.5 cubic feet. It’s also 242 pounds heavier and $4,200 more. Otherwise, it is the same as the RX 350, except with the third row wedge.
To be fair, we fit four kids in the second and third row of the tester, which came with seven seats. There is a six-seat option with captain’s chairs in the middle. We put a smallish 12-year old and a wiry 6-year-old in the third row, then shifted the midrow seats forward to fit two average-sized 11-year olds. All those bony knees were touching each seat back. And the driver (me) is 5 feet, 8½ inches (the half counts!), so that seat was more forward than back.
An argument could be made that it could work for grandma to help out ferrying the grandkids around in a pinch, or for anyone who occasionally helps out getting the young kids to and fro. Or it could be the ideal dog seat. Or simply for more cargo room. The advantage is that it’s not as large to park, handle and drive as other three-row crossovers. So it has that going for it. And its mate, the RX 350, had nearly double the sales of the second-best-selling crossover in 2017.
There is also a hybrid version, with the battery packed under the second row.
Other positives include the refined interior styling and smooth power delivery of the 290-horsepower V-6 engine with eight-speed transmission. Getting in and out of the third row is easy with a latch at the top of the midrow seat. The push-button style used by Acura in the MDX is easier at every grade level.
From the liftgate, the third row can be collapsed with a button to convert the rear back to a cargo hauler. Also standard is a power liftgate and third-row heating and air conditioning vents. Third-row passengers also get two cup holders.
The tester also featured Lexus’ navigation package ($3,200) with a 12.3-inch split-screen display that alleviates the problem of a narrow screen with tiny buttons. Enform is still an inferior suite of multimedia applications, and the touchpad control is still hit-or-miss while driving, but Toyota/Lexus appear to be committed to improving what has been a source of frustration the past few years. Fortunately, most of the essential functions like audio controls and vehicle info can be accessed with steering wheel controls.
The market wanted a third row, and Lexus gave it to them in the market leader. But the execution does not fit well in a market bursting with three-rows.

Be Smart, Check in Advance. CARFAX — Your Vehicle History.
CARFAX — Your Vehicle History Expert
Sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you, but that's not the case when buying a used car. As an independent vehicle history provider, at CARFAX we've made it our mission to tell you everything you need to know by uncovering as many events as possible from the previous life of a used car. Our primary goal is to help you get to know your next car from the inside out before deciding to make an investment that will be part of you and your family's everyday life. We believe your next car shouldn't be hiding anything from you.
CARFAX Vehicle History Reports contain over 28 billion historical records from 20 European countries, the US and Canada, which are updated daily with new information.
Even if you live in a country we don't collect vehicle data from, it's still always worth checking the Vehicle Identification Number without obligation. The used car import and export market is booming and many owners would be surprised to find out exactly what happened to their vehicle during its previous life abroad.
Privacy for Customers — Transparency over Vehicles
Let's be clear: Although we strive to find every detail of a vehicle's life so far, we are focused only on the vehicle's history, and do not collect any information on previous owners. The information we provide relates solely to the vehicle, its odometer reading, any accidents that have been covered up, where the vehicle comes from and much more — it never gets personal. We've uncovered irreparable damage several times in the past, but other times our vehicle history checks draw a blank — and sometimes that's actually a good thing.
Second Hand — Not Second Best
Did you know that considerably more used cars are sold than new cars? We think this second-hand system is nothing short of fantastic. However, it goes without saying that it gives rise to different methods and tactics: Some sellers will disguise a car that's been in an accident under a fresh coat of paint, tamper with the odometer or conceal theft. This is one of the less appealing aspects of buying second hand. Our goal is to establish trusting relationships between buyers and sellers, since this is the best way to help customers make the right decision. Your new car should be reliable and make you feel safe, as well as make you feel like you haven't paid too much.
But more than anything else, we don't want you or your family unknowingly sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle that isn't 100% safe. This is why we strive to take these vehicles off the road, which not only makes the used car market safer but our streets safer too.
CARFAX — 35+ Years of Experience in Vehicle Histories
CARFAX was founded in the US in 1984 and expanded into Europe in 2007. Around 100 team members spread across six European offices process vehicle information from 22 countries.
Fostering strategic partnerships with registration authorities, law enforcement agencies, government departments, insurance companies, inspection centers and numerous other leading companies around the world has enabled us to compile a unique international database for vehicle histories. We use this database to help make the used car market more transparent. We give everyone in the process of buying a used car access to what is currently the world's most comprehensive source for vehicle history reports, and is growing day by day.
We remain neutral and independent despite our partnerships — our sole purpose is help customers make an informed choice and ensure their safety and the safety of their family. This includes never collecting any personal details — we do not accept any PII from data sources amongst the information we provide about a vehicle. We ensure that data protection laws are observed at all times. Furthermore, we always collect our data in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — in all the countries in which we are active. We expressly distance ourselves from illegal activities such as data theft, scraping and hacking.

I have purchased several vehicles from Sterling McCall and never had a bad experience. Most recently, I purchased a vehicle from Sterling McCall Lexus in Houston and although I ended up returning the vehicle the customer service was amazing. Ray and Hong were very nice and accommodating. Also, the young lady I worked with in Finance (regrettably I can’t remember her name) was very personable and efficient. I highly recommend all Sterling McCall dealerships.

I called Ellen Morgan (Pre-Owned Lexus) 2 weeks ahead, to help me surprise my wife with a RX350 for her birthday. Ellen was very responsive and helpful to make this happen being that I was driving almost 4 hours to surprise her with this gift. This is one of the best experiences, we have had purchasing a vehicle ! The dealership was very fair in my opinion on my trade in price and the sales price. Thank you Ellen for helping make my wife’s birthday wonderful !

Chris was already ready to cum, but then, although young, but apparently an experienced lover changed his position and now energetically and confidently penetrated the girl's tight, brown slightly wrinkled anus. This was already beyond all her strength, the girl's excitement reached its climax and she, discarding the last extraneous thoughts, gave herself up.
To pleasure and decided to help this womanizer - relaxed the anus and allowed the crazy tongue to penetrate even deeper into the chocolate hole without even remembering whether she had time to poop in a hurry this morning before exit. Dima once again stopped moving on the verge of her orgasm, but after a couple of seconds something hard, hot and big rested on her wet and burning desire anus, and a moment later her insides were filled with a feeling of masculine dignity, everything and Christina floated before her eyes she began to sit on the penis faster and deeper.
