On the AWS User Experience team you will be responsible for the UX from strategy to execution for all of our cloud-based services. You will work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, executives, and other designers, overseeing UX design throughout the strategy, design, and development lifecycle. Our UX team is comprised of those with experience in interaction design, information architecture, content strategy, user interface design, user research, usability testing, and/or web development.
We are also looking for hands on Web Developers with a passion for creating great user experiences. The Amazon Prime Video UX Design team is seeking a Senior UX Designer to design for our Living Room experience for millions of smart TVs, set top boxes, game consoles, and more. In a collaborative environment, you’ll drive design from early-stage conceptual design all the way through final delivery and launch. · Driving adoption of best practices and standards across teams; sharing these with peers and stakeholders to drive cross-team alignment.
· Making recommendations to partner teams and senior leaders on org goals and design strategy.
· Creating solutions that demonstrate knowledge of the capabilities and constraints of the technology stack.
· Aligning with partner teams to identify and aggregate disparate qualitative and quantitative data to inform design solutions at the product level.
· Building consensus and influencing others or finding a way forward when confronted with discordant views.
· Contributing to the professional development of colleagues and improving their design skills.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to present to and influence other designers, PMs, and senior executive management.
· Demonstrated experience refining and defining design patterns, standards, methods, and/or processes
· Demonstrated experience leading design projects in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team including designers, product managers, and software developers.
· Demonstrated experience measuring the impact of your work against key business and customer experience goals.
· Demonstrated experience designing for any of the following: consumer, e-commerce, or entertainment apps
